Job HuntingWritten by Claire on August 25th, 2010 with no comments.
It’s no surprise to me that hundreds, possibly thousands of Irish teachers are again this September, left high and dry and unable to find full time work. One thousand new secondary teaching posts were promised in the Irish press in May. Unfortunately for the candidates who would not consider teaching England as they were going to hold out for these promised posts, it is now too late to secure a full time post for September. Uteach will have a hand full of posts to fill in the first two weeks of term and after that, we will start to recruit for posts starting afer the Halloween break. I invite candidates who have failed to secure a post here in Ireland to email a CV directly to me (claire@uteachrecruitment.com) and Uteach will do it’s best to find you a school in England. The work is there… why not give it a go?
