Uteach are the only teaching agency with a base in Ireland. Our Cork office is managed by our Recruitment Manager Claire Birch who, while she hails from Cork, worked as a qualified teacher in London for six years before joining Uteach in 2006.
Currently many European countries, Ireland in particular, are facing real hardship through government cut backs which has resulted in education budgets being slashed. This means there are even fewer teaching posts than in recent years and supply work is very limited.
At Uteach we specialise in relocating qualified teachers to state schools in England and international schools in Middle East, Asia and Central/South America, which have many vacant teaching posts. The majority of teaching jobs in the UK are in south-east England.
We know that wherever you completed your teacher training it took a lot of hard work and determination which should not go to waste because of a lack of employment opportunities. Relocating to teach, even for a short period of time, will ensure your teaching skills remain fresh and up-to-date.

We will provide you with CV and interview tips, giving you the best possible opportunity to secure a full-time teaching job in the UK or internationally. If you are successful at interview, Uteach also provides pre-employment training to ease you into your role which includes information on the culture of the classroom and curriculum.
We guide you through each stage of the recruitment process and provide practical assistance to make relocating as simple as possible. We will find you good-quality accommodation near your new school and are available seven days a week to answer any questions you may have.
