Uteach Partner with The Healthly Lifestyle Project - Aiming Higher in Malawi
Uteach recruitment is partnering with The Healthly Lifestyle Project - Aiming Higher in Malawi to send 5 Scottish student teachers to Malawi for 3 weeks, in July 2013, to train local educators. As well as offering invaluable life experience, this oppotunity will provide the students with excellent teaching experience to enhance their CVs.
The overall objective of Aiming Higher in Malawi is to empower and enable local Malawians in Mulanje, Mendulo and Luchenza to create an environment which reduces poverty and the root causes of poverty, through a sustainable Health Education and Enterprising development. With a particular focus on young women and girls.The student teacher will be involved in a project to train teachers in Malawi to encourage more children, particularly young girls, to come and stay on for a secondary education.
