We Pay for Interviews
Uteach is unique in that we always send UK and EU teachers to see the school before asking them to accept a position. You don’t get the same feel for a school just by looking at a website and having a telephone interview. Nor do you have a good understanding of the area and prospects for accommodation. We understand that when you are offered a teaching job, it needs to be in the right area, the right school and costly interviews can be offputting. We look at the best way to get you to the school and will cover the cost of the flight or train, plus an overnight stay if necessary, up to £180, which is usually more than enough. We will often cover more than this if the school needs to see you urgently, or in certain circumstances.
Other agencies require candidates to pay for their interview costs if they do not get the job, but at Uteach we cover the cost regardless. We also offer additional services to help you out, such as interest-free loans when you get the job to help you relocate.
