Uteach Specialise in relocating qualified teachers to teaching posts in the UK. Predominantly our teachers are Irish and Scottish, although we do fully support diversity and have teachers from all over the world working with us. We are different as we offer the schools and the teachers the chance to work together for a short period of time before making any decisions about longer term or permanent contracts.
We Take Care of the Practicalities to Let Teachers Teach!
To remove any burden on a schools administration team, we help the teacher with travel costs and travel arrangements. For successful candidates we will also source accommodation for them near your school, providing interest free loans to aid relocation. Once a teacher is placed the relationship does not stop there, we take care of their well-being to make sure they can do what you employed them to do, and teach!

"In March 2009 I contacted UTeach in order to be able to make a visit to Ireland to recruit maths and English teachers. King Ethelbert School is a national challenge school. Last year we had 14% 5+A*-C including English and maths and part of the problem was the inability to find good staff in these core subjects.
The trip to Ireland was hugely successful. I spoke to many Irish teachers, giving them a chance to learn a bit more about our school and me a chance to have a pre-interview. Over 35 prospective teachers in a couple of days was an excellent field to choose from.
I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Ireland which was well organised and managed by Uteach and was entertaining and relaxing as well as very profitable. Kathleen and Clare were delightful hosts and I made several networks with staff from other parts of the country with whom I am still in contact for mutual support.
The follow up to the Irish trip was also excellent. We interviewed 3 mathematicians and 4 English teachers and all 7 were of a high quality.
When one of the original maths teachers we chose in Ireland dropped out, Kathleen and Uteach provided us with a replacement one who she felt would match the needs of the teacher and the school he was actually the man we employed!
We employed our maths and English teachers in May/June of this year. This gave them a chance to settle in before September and find places to live locally. They were an immediate success and took examination revision classes immediately.
We are delighted that we are the national challenge school that has made the most progress in Kent as our results this year were 34% 5+A*-C including English and maths, a rise of 20%. I feel that Kathleen was part of the team that helped make this happen. She was interested, helpful, enthusiastic and really helped us find teachers who fitted in immediately and matched the schools needs. I did send an email to Uteach as soon as we received our results to thank them for the help and support they had provided.
